About Garry

Garry works as Head of IT and Development for a retail consultancy company in the UK. He has worked in IT director-level roles for more than a decade, and began coding at the age of just nine years old.

He is proficient with many technologies including PHP, JavaScript, CSS/CSS3, XML, AJAX, Python, HTML/HTML5, SQL, JSON, Node JS, Photoshop, Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Linux, Plesk, Visual Studio, and Laravel, to name a few.

His creative passions extend far beyond computer programming and design. In fact, he is passionate about anything creative. He has a love for photography, videography, graphic design, book and audiobook cover design, writing, and scriptwriting.

He published his first fiction novel in 2019 and since then has gone on to publish a further 4 fiction titles and 7 non-fiction titles, as well as 4 low content journals. He has sold many books internationally, as well as in his home country, the UK. He writes under the name of Rowan Grey, as well as his real name.

He has written many TV scripts; some alone, and others as collaborations. Some of his favourites are ‘The Amazing Arkaleon’, ‘Losing It!’, and ‘The Baltic Fleet’.

Computer coding enabled Garry to create characters, game worlds, and other magical features, only limited by the depths of his imagination.
